Born Edder Jair Meza, Chedder's passion for music started young, growing up in a Mexican household where weekend rhythms filled the air. Inspired by the beats of Spanish music and later drawn into hip-hop through freestyle sessions with friends, he honed his craft from writing poems to producing full songs.

From recording with a Nintendo 64 mic to making beats on Fruity Loops, Chedder remained dedicated to the grind. After years in the Dallas rap scene with Yungstas Entertainment, he founded Mic City Records—built on independence, authenticity, and a love for raw, meaningful music.
